IF: SAVE...again

Wow. Two posts on the same topic. So I started this this morning thinking It would be cute. After the first 3 sketches I decided to go a different route. I've always loved David Shannon's "NO DAVID" books. I find the art incredible. I love the idea of the kid telling his own story with the pictures rather than an adult trying to capture what the kid is experiencing. I thought I'd give that a go and I really like it. Plus it was a lot more fun.

it is kind of cute in an odd way! I love your highlights! The kid's head is so wonderful too.

I love the expression the piggy banks face. Wonderful.

Great job on the guy's face. I particularly like his chin. And if that pig can look, he can move. Get out of the way, pig!

Terrific work! I really like this. Someone else did a piggy bank being chased by a hammer. Great minds...

This is a fun style, Jay. I can see you writing a David Shannon type book!;)

Fun stuff Jay! David seems to me to the impatient type. How much did he save, 15¢? Good one!
