I've been fairly busy with work and school and have neglected to post anything lately. Here's some stuff I've done since my last post.

Ye Scurvy Dogs!!

So once again my homework assignment is one of perspective. I spent most of my time working on the ship. I watched Master and Commander 5 times last week and Pirates of the Caribbean once. I realize the dog ship is way taller/bigger whatever than the cat ship but oh well. Just look past that okay. So here we have the classic battle, DOG v. CAT on a breezy day on the high seas. Though the cats are willing to defend themselves I think we all know how this will end. I've included a quick value study which really needs more work on it. It was really just a three minute study so don't expect much from it.

Tortoise vs. Hare- The Race of the Century

Instinct would suggest that the rabbit has this race won already. But that tortoise looks like he might pull it off. Just finished this tonite for school. Would love to do a daytime version. The assignment was exploring artificial light and shadows so we went with the night scene.

What the... ?!!

So I've been away too long. I have been busy you could say but I don't think I've been that busy. I recently started school in a Masters program and have very much enjoyed doing real drawing again for a while. I'll add some of the stuff I've done for school to this post. I really do love art. anyway, I hope you haven't missed me too bad.

So this was a fun shirt to work on for obvious reasons. For some reason my boss was worried about making sure the ships didn't look like x-wing or tie-fighters. I would think the whole layout and light sabers and death star would be more of a concern than the tiny ships but you do what you gotta do right?

Wedding

So my brother Mike is getting married today. A few years ago my wife decided a great wedding present would be a hand drawn portrait of the wedding announcement photo. So I've done a few of these for friends. I enjoy it. Hope Mike likes it.
