What the... ?!!

So I've been away too long. I have been busy you could say but I don't think I've been that busy. I recently started school in a Masters program and have very much enjoyed doing real drawing again for a while. I'll add some of the stuff I've done for school to this post. I really do love art. anyway, I hope you haven't missed me too bad.

The Forest is strong...

So this was a fun shirt to work on for obvious reasons. For some reason my boss was worried about making sure the ships didn't look like x-wing or tie-fighters. I would think the whole layout and light sabers and death star would be more of a concern than the tiny ships but you do what you gotta do right?

Wedding

So my brother Mike is getting married today. A few years ago my wife decided a great wedding present would be a hand drawn portrait of the wedding announcement photo. So I've done a few of these for friends. I enjoy it. Hope Mike likes it.

IF: SAVE...again

Wow. Two posts on the same topic. So I started this this morning thinking It would be cute. After the first 3 sketches I decided to go a different route. I've always loved David Shannon's "NO DAVID" books. I find the art incredible. I love the idea of the kid telling his own story with the pictures rather than an adult trying to capture what the kid is experiencing. I thought I'd give that a go and I really like it. Plus it was a lot more fun.

I guess I got baseball on my mind. One of my boys has figured out how to hit a ball. He's 3 so it's pretty cool. Anyway this is the reliever coming in to SAVE the game.
